iOS 10 Concept Video Showing Awesome Features

iOS 10 Concept

Apple will hold its WWDC event from June 13 to 17, but until now, it refused to give information about the upcoming iOS 10. This operating system will be unveiled in less than two months, but others are already imagining what features should be added to iOS 10.

Federico Viticci of MacStories and UI/Web designer and motion graphics artist Sam Beckett have worked together on an iOS 10 concept and they’ve included all the features they want to see in the upcoming OS.

Federico Viticci founded MacStories and he’s writing mostly about applications, developers and mobile software. He had lots of ideas about features that should be introduced in iOS 10 and he needed Sam Beckett’s help to create the concept video, so you can watch it below:

In the video, Control Center is customizable, as Viticci believes it’s time for Apple to make this change, because since iOS 7, nothing else was added. So, Viticci included user customization and 3D Touch shortcuts.

System Dark Mode is the second feature that Viticci thinks it should be introduced, in addition to the Night Shift and the True Tone display, which should also perform in different light conditions. This way, iOS 10 would support higher levels and better legibility.

Messages app should be also upgraded, because two years have passed since Apple has made some changes to it. Viticci included the option to share any type of file and to log into the Messages account from other iDevices.

iCloud Drive and Document Picker shouldn’t be exempted from upgrades, and some features should be borrowed from Finder on Mac OS X. iOS 10 must have an improved functionality of file management, as well and other improvements should be made to the multitasking feature on iPad.

Apple must improve Siri, the digital assistant, to respond better to voice commands and to support third-party app integration. The Proactive Page should offer more personalized suggestions, without Apple having to collect data from users.
