Intex Aqua Wonder Quadcore smartphone launched, priced at Rs. 9,990

Intex has launched a new quad-core processor powered affordable smartphone in the Indian market. This new device is a successor to the Aqua Wonder and it is called the Aqua Wonder Quadcore, obviously because it sports the new processor.

At the moment this smartphone is available with online retailer Flipkart at an introductory price of Rs. 9,990, however it will later increase to Rs. 15,000, as declared by the company.

The Intex Aqua Wonder Quadcore sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage capacity which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 32GB.

This smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box. It sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and it has a secondary 2 megapixel front facing camera which supports video calling. It is equipped with a 1,800 mAH battery which has been rated to provide up to 32 hours of talk time and 3 days of standby time.

Just like many other recent quad-core powered smartphones from local brands, this Intel smartphone features dual-SIM connectivity. It also supports other connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

  1. I think Wammy Passion Y is the best phablet ever in the indian market has ever seen its got an upgrade with android 4.2 ..the comoany is now rolling out phones with android 4.2 straight out of the box.
