Google Nexus 7 (2017) vs Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 – The Creme of the Crop
Three years have passed since Google launched its highly popular Nexus 7. The tablet represented the best that Google had to offer in terms of tablets, but the years haven’t been good to Nexus 7. Other tech manufacturers have managed to create higher-end Android powered tables and Nexus 7 was left behind. For example, Samsung recently released its Galaxy Tab S3 which is undoubtedly better than Nexus 7. However, rumor has it that Google is actually preparing to unveil the highly anticipated Nexus 7 (2017) later this year.
Today we will present everything we know about these two Android powered tablets and see which one has the most to offer. In addition, interested customers will be able to tell if they should acquire Samsung’s premium tablet or just wait a little more until Nexus 7 (2017) comes out.
Nexus 7 (2017)
The internet has been buzzing with rumors about Google’s upcoming tablet lately. Nexus 7 (2017) is expected to come out alongside Google’s latest Android 8.0 operating system. In addition, when it comes to hardware power Nexus 7 (2017) is said to be the most powerful tablet ever made. The reason we are saying this is because Google is supposedly going to equip Nexus 7 (2017) with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 CPU and 4GB of RAM.
Galaxy Tab S3
Samsung’s device is the top dog in the tablet industry right now, at least until Nexus 7 (2017) comes out. There isn’t any other tablet that’s able to fully take on Galaxy Tab S3 in terms of specs and we can only hope that Nexus 7 (2017) is going to be as powerful as expected.
Nonetheless, Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 820 CPU. The processor has been clocked at 1.6GHz Kyro and it is paired with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit alongside 4GB of RAM.
From the looks of it, Nexus 7 (2017) has the upper hand. However, everything we know about Google’s upcoming tablet is based on rumors therefore everything is subjective to change. Truth be told, Galaxy Tab S3 is more than worthy of holding the title as being the most powerful Android tablet ever made and Google will surely have some hard competition.
