Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P Issues Might Make Google Shutdown The Nexus Line-up
Back when Pixel and Pixel XL was announced by Google, rumors have surfaced all over the internet, claiming that the big search engine company is actually planning to stop the Nexus line-up.
However, we have to mention that Google has never announced that it will actually shutdown the Nexus lineup, but at the same time, the company has not said anything about a new Nexus device either.
However, we remind you that the Nexus 5X had some bootloop issues, while the Nexus 6P was randomly shutting down. However, even if these problems have been fixed, the sales have been affected by them. This is one of the reasons why Google might want to stop producing this line-up.
Currently, the Google Nexus 6P is facing some new hardware issues, which made some users to associate them with the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS. This is not very good for Google and the company knows that very well.
After all, software updates are released to improve the performance of the device and to fix some of the bugs that it has, not to make them run worse than before. Unfortunately, the latest update that the Nexus 6P device has received comes with some fingerprint scanner problems.
We’re pretty sure that Google is already thinking about ditching the Google Nexus line-up, which will be replaced by the Pixel and Pixel XL successors. The next Pixel and Pixel XL devices are expected to be released sometime in October 2017. However, until then, Google will most likely make an official announcement regarding the discontinuation of the Nexus line-up.
