Microsoft Xbox 360 price dropped in India, 250GB version now for Rs 21,990

Before bringing the new Xbox One in the Indian market, which is apparently scheduled sometime in September, the prices of the Xbox 360 have now been slashed, thank you Microsoft.

The Xbox 360 250GB now costs Rs 21,990 while the Xbox 360 250GB with Kinect now costs Rs 31,990. While the prices of the 250GB variants have been slashed, the 4GB variant of the console (both console and console with Kinect) remain the same.

The price drop is of about Rs 3,000 for the 250GB Xbox 360 and is complemented by an offer called Xbox Live Gold Rush Promo, this offers 36 free games on purchase of Xbox Live Gold membership and it will be valid from May 21 to July 30 this year.

Microsoft is expected to launch its new-generation Xbox One console in India in September this year. However the pricing for the console is still undisclosed.

The Sony PlayStation 4 which is already selling in the Indian market comes at a price of Rs 39,990, however it is facing an inventory shortage at the moment. We expect the Xbox One will be priced competitively so one can expect it to be around Rs 40,000 or even higher.
