Lava launches IvoryS, a 3G enabled tablet with voice calling for Rs 8,499

Amidst all of its new smartphone launches, Lava has now released a new tablet in their Ivory series and it is called the Lava IvoryS. This is an Android based, 3G capable tablet which supports voice calling. It has been officially priced at Rs 8,499.

The device is currently available for purchase via various online retailer in India and physical retails stores across the country.

In terms of the specifications, the device sports a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) resolution display and it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8312 dual-core processor which is backed up with a Mali 400 GOU and 1GB of RAM.

The Lava tablet also includes 4GB of built-in storage which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 32GB in size. The device will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

It also sports a 3.2 megapixel front facing camera, a secondary front facing VGA quality camera and a 2,800 mAh battery. In terms of the connectivity the device supports dual-SIM cars, 3G and 2G support, vice calling, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities.
