Micromax launches Canvas Doodle 3 for Rs 8,500, sports a 6-inch display

Soon after teasing its upcoming phablet device, Micromax has officially unveiled the tablets/smartphone hybrid which is a part of the companies Canvas Doodle series. It will hit the stores on April 25, is called Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 and it has an official price tag of Rs 8,500.

In terms of the specifications the Canvas Doodle 3 sports a 6-inch FWVGA resolution display which is a little disappointing as it has such a big display but poor screen resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The phablet comes with a 4 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a VGA quality front facing camera. It is equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery and has 4GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

In terms of the connectivity the device has dual-SIM card slots, supports 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS capabilities. The phablet will also come with a stylus as well as a free flip cover which is bundled with the device.

The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it will also be bundled with a few applications which include – Kingston Office, Opera Mini Browser, Getit and other games like Marble, Rope Cut, Jelly Jumper and others.
