Lenovo S660 smartphone with a quad-core processor launched in India, priced Rs 13,999
Lenovo has launched its latest dual-SIM capable affordable smartphone in the Indian market. This device is called the Lenovo S660 which has an official price tag of Rs 13,999. The device also up for grabs with online retailer Flipkart who is selling it at at Rs 12,999, which is Rs 1,000 less than its official price tag.
The Lenovo S660 smartphone sports 4.7-inch IPS qHD resolution display, which is a bit of a shame as most smartphones in this price range offer a 720p HD resolution display.
The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is coupled with 1GB of RAM. It will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is skinned with the company’s own see interface and the smartphone also comes with a Mali 400 GPU for a little improved media/gaming performance.
The S660 is a dual-SIM capable smartphone and both the SIM slots on this device support 3G connectivity. It has 8GB of built-in storage capacity and additional expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.
This smartphone has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash while there is a secondary front facing 0.3 megapixel camera. A replaceable 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery has been included in the device which s said to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G network and between 7 to 10 hours of talk time on 3G network.
