Vodafone launches its Smart 4 Mini smartphone in UK
Vodafone has now released a new entry-level smartphone in the UK which it calls the Smart 4 Mini. This is the latest device in its entry-level Smart line-up of Android smartphone and it comes equipped with some decent hardware.
The Smart 4 Mini is pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the device is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor.
It also sports a 40-inch WVGA resolution capacitive touchscreen display, has 4GB of built-in storage capacity and expandable memory up to 32GB via a microSD card. The smartphone also supports 3G connectivity and is equipped with all the other key connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
It has a 3 megapixel rear camera and the device will be available in black and white colours. The Vodafone Smart 4 Mini is now available for purchase for £50 (€60 / $85) on PAYG (pay as you go).
While the Smart 4 Mini does sport the Vodafone branding on its back, the device is in fact manufactured by a Chinese company ZTE. This is an entry-level Android based smartphone so one can’t expect it perform the best, but it will certainly help you experience Android 4.2 Jelly Bean features introduced with the update.
