Spice Glide Mi-438 is a 3G capable entry-level smartphone for Rs 5,199

Spice has launched its new entry-level Android based smartphone which is called the Spice Glide Mi-438.This device supports dual-SIM cards, has 3G connectivity and is officially priced at Rs 5,199.

The Spice Glide Mi-438 comes with Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification and this simply means that it will have the Play Store and all the other Google services are pre-installed on the device, just like on majority of the other Android smartphones.

This smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor which is coupled with 512MB of RAM. It further includes a 4-inch OGS display and comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box.

The Glide Mi-438 has a 2 megapixel rear camera with a LED flash while on the front it has a 1.3 megapixel camera. A microSD card slot supports up to 32GB of expandable storage and Spice also provide users with 2GB of cloud storage on its Spice Cloud.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1,350mAh battery which according to the company can provide more than 4.5 hours of talk time and stand by time of up to 170 hours. In terms of the connectivity the device also feature Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities.
