Windows 10 Mobile To Announce Its Release Date Today

Windows 10 Mobile

According to reports, Microsoft is finally going to announce the release date of the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile operating system. These rumors appeared on the Windows Blog Italia, a well known website that has been a source of many leaks in the past few days. If rumors prove to be right, Microsoft will announce today that Windows 10 Mobile will be released on March 17, 2016.

The same website claims that Microsoft will release the Windows 10 Mobile for the following Microsoft Lumia devices: 535, 636, 638, 640, 640 XL, 830, 930 and 1520. However, we remind you that these are just rumors for now and we should take them with a bit of salt, as Microsoft might disappoint us by not releasing anything in the following days.

We remind you that when the developer has been asked last week about this matter, a Microsoft spokesman said that Windows 10 is currently available for the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, PCs and tablets. The Windows 10 OS on other devices, including on the mentioned mobile device, will start rolling out early this year.

When the Microsoft spokesman said that it will be released in “early 2016”, we thought that he was referring to January, February or March, as April would to be too late for that statement. With other words, we’re pretty sure that Microsoft that will release the Windows 10 Mobile for the mentioned devices on March 17, 2016 or sometime before the end of the month.

We remind you that earlier in March, a report stated that Vodafone Italy will start rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile on March 7, 2016 for the mentioned devices, but that didn’t happen.

However, Microsoft is running out of time, so the company is somehow forced to make an official announcement regarding the release date of the Windows 10 Mobile OS for the devices we’ve listed above, or there will be a lot of upset Lumia owners all over the world.

  1. Getting tired of all these rumours
Microsoft, release it, don’t release it – sick to the back teeth of no announcements.
FGS just say it will come in June. Gives you plenty of time to sort bugs (some still in PC version of Edge, even as I type it hangs a few seconds after a few words) and we know to wait.
Think my next phone probably WONT be windows
