Windows 10 Mobile OTA Update

According to new reports, Microsoft will release the Windows 10 Mobile OTA update these days for the eligible devices. Carrier partners of Microsoft such as Vodafone Australia and Vodafone Italy have already hinted that they will release “soon” the Windows 10 Mobile update.

We remind you that Microsoft has announced the Windows 10 Mobile OS last year in November. The new operating system is about to be released for the Lumia devices that currently run on Windows Phone 8.1.

T-Mobile Poland has released the Windows 10 Mobile update for the Lumia 640 devices in January 2016. In December 2015, a representative from Microsoft Mexico said on Facebook that on February 29, 2016, the Windows 10 Mobile will be released globally. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and this disappointed many Lumia devices owners.

Vodafone Italy has already revealed via its forum site that it will release the Windows 10 Mobile update to its users sometime between March 7 and March 13, 2016. The update will be released for devices that run on Windows 8.1 Phone such as Lumia 535, Lumia 635, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520.

In addition, Vodafone Australia will also release the Windows 10 Mobile OTA update as it has already completed the testing of the new operating system for the mentioned devices. We remind you that more carriers are making premature announcements from the beginning of 2016, which clearly shows that most of them have already finished testing the Windows 10 Mobile OS.

There are also rumors which say that the American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, is also working on a version of the Windows 10 Mobile for smartphones such as Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 2 and the upcoming OnePlus 3.

Do you think that the Windows 10 Mobile will be released next week, as Vodafone Italy claims or there might be reasons for the release to be delayed?
