Western Digital Launches Scorpio Black HDD for Notebooks

Western Digital has announced that the company has now started shipping the Scorpio Black Hard Disk for laptops in the Indian market. The Scorpio Black is a 750GB, 7200 RPM and is a 2.5-inch thick hard drive.

The Scorpio Black apparently is the fastest hard drive in the market and has 16MB of cache. It is also includes another feature called Advanced Format (AF) technology as well as other data protection capabilities.

It is priced at Rs. 5275 and comes with a five year warranty.
