Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Receives Patch 1.12
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is one of the most successful action-adventure games ever made. The game is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title and it was launched back in May 10th, 2016. Uncharted 4 has been bundled with Sony’s PS4 and it managed sell over 8.7 million copies all throughout 2016.
Almost one year has passed since the game first saw the light of the day and the majority of players have already finished the game’s campaign and are left with nothing to do. Fortunately, the game’s developer Naughty Dog keeps on rolling out updates that include new game modes and skins. In fact, Naughty Dog has just rolled out patch 1.12.
The developers behind the game have created this update with one purpose in mind, to enhance the game’s multiplayer features. Therefore, Uncharted 4 will now feature a wide array of multiplayer content. The most important feature that’s being brought by this patch is the permanent King of the Hill mode.
Uncharted 4: King of the Hill Mode
This is the most popular multiplayer game mode and it can be found on other popular multiplayer games such as H1-Z1 and GTA 5 Online. King of the Hill allows players to group up in two teams and battle against each other in order to capture points. However, Naughty Dog didn’t want this mode to be generic and made it more entertaining by giving the losing team a chance to strike back.
Uncharted 4: Weapons and Skins
Naughty Dog wants to allow players to express themselves and this is why patch 1.12 contains a handful of new vanity skins. We should mention that Naughty Dog has designed these skins so that they resemble the in-game comics from The Last of Us. Maybe this is Naughty Dog’s way of hinting that The Last of US 2 is getting ready to launch.
Additionally, patch 1.12 also contains new weapons such as NSAS and scoped Competition Pistol. Sadly, Uncharted 4 is the last installment in the franchise and we won’t be able to get a chance to step in Drake’s shoes again. On the bright side, it doesn’t look like Naughty Dog wants to stop from updating Uncharted 4 any time soon.
