Nexus 7 Will Revive the Nexus Brand Back to its Old Glory

The entire world was expecting Google to refresh its tablet offering last year. Sadly, as everyone knows already Google decided to postpone the launch of the new Nexus 7. Google was supposedly going to team up with Huawei and manufacturer the tablet together but the two companies didn’t see eye to eye. The Android parent didn’t want Huawei to engrave its logo on the device and since Huawei is still trying to make a name for itself, it didn’t agree to Google’s terms.

Google To Revamp The Nexus Brand

Even though both Pixel and Pixel XL have been selling quite well in the US, the two devices aren’t seeing the same success in foreign countries. The Pixel brand doesn’t benefit from the same globally recognition as the Nexus brand does. This is why rumor has it that Google wants to create new Nexus devices. If we take a good look at what Google has to offer, launching a new Nexus 7 tablet makes the most sense. This way, Google is able to capitalize on foreign markets without hindering Pixel and Pixel XL’s success.

Google Nexus 7

All major companies such as Samsung and Apple have kept on providing their customer base with new tablet offerings while Google has only been focusing on smartphones. We think it’s safe to say that all Android fans are highly enthusiastic about the not-yet released Nexus 7 because they will be able to enjoy a “pure” Android experience. Additionally, the Android parent is expected to equip the tablet with only the best hardware parts available on the market and this is hyping up Nexus 7 as well.

Google has yet to confirm the existence of Nexus 7 but fortunately, Evan Blass has uploaded a leaked document that hinted towards a new Google tablet. We should mention that Evan Blass is a known and liable leakster that has rarely been wrong when it comes to predicting new upcoming devices.

Nonetheless, the tablet is expected to ship with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. This processor will definitely give Nexus 7 the ability to provide owners with impressive hardware performances under any circumstances. Also, Nexus 7 will surely feature Android 7.1.1 Nougat therefore owners will be able to enjoy the best Google has to offer in terms of operating system updates.
