Huawei Nexus 6P Won’t Back Down

October 2016 marks the month in which Google decided to part ways with Huawei. Everyone was surprised to hear this because the two tech giants have collaborated together and created Nexus 6P which is one of best Android powered smartphones ever made. However, Google’s reasons to leave Huawei and Nexus 6P are quite simple, the Android parent wanted to walk on its own path and this is how Pixel and Pixel XL were born.

It looks like Google’s decision to stop creating Nexus smartphones was a wise one since both Pixel and Pixel XL are consumer-favorites. These smartphones represent a pure Android experience and customers are flocking over to them. Although customers are still left with one question in mind, is Nexus 6P still a good purchase? Well, we’re going to answer that question today by closely analyzing what Nexus 6P has to offer in terms of hardware power.

Huawei Nexus 6P: Hardware Power

Before we open Nexus 6P’s hood, we should mention that Google is actually having problems with Nexus 6P. The smartphone is still selling quite well and it’s hindering Pixel and Pixel XL’s success. The Android parent might have been able to kill off older Nexus smartphones such as Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, but Nexus 6P isn’t giving up that easy. Without any further ado, let’s see what Nexus 6P has to offer.

Huawei is known for always going overboard when it comes to hardware power and that’s why Nexus 6P is equipped with Qualcomm’s highly powerful octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. The chipset features four cores that clock at 1.55GHz Cortex-A53 and other four ones that have been clocked at 2.0GHz Cortex-A57.

If the processor doesn’t sound powerful enough, readers should know that Huawei has paired it with an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. As we can clearly see, even though Nexus 6P was launched in 2015 it’s still more than capable of taking on 2016 and 2017 flagship smartphones.

Huawei Nexus 6P: Final Thoughts

The answer to the aforementioned question is yes. The smartphone is definitely a good purchase, especially since its impressive hardware power makes it a perfect daily driver. Additionally, Google’s constant stream of operating system updates are going to keep Nexus 6P alive for the years to come.
