HP launches its new Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook in India

First revealed at CES 2012 the HP ENVY Spectre Ultrabook has made it to the Indian market and the pricing starts from a heavy 99,999 INR. It has killer looks and powerful hardware making it a great choice if you plan to purchase a powerful Ultrabook.

The HP ENVY 14 Spectre has a stylish scratch resistant glassy exterior and has a similar design to that of the former HP ENVY devices, which of course looks very similar to Apple’s MacBook Pro. It is just 20mm thick and weighs 1.8kg. As the name suggests it comes with a 14-inch backlit LED Radiance display which boasts a 1600×900 pixels resolution.

This Ultrabooks is available with Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors each being clocked at 1.6GHz ot 1.8GHz. It also includes 4GB of DDR3 RAM which of course can be upgraded if the users desires. It comes with Intel’s integrated graphics, however does not include an option for dedicated graphics unit. The base model includes a 128GB SSD which can be upgraded 256GB SSD if required.

The HP ENVY 14 Spectre is equipped with Beats audio technology, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Mini-Display, HDMI and 2-in-1 card reader ports and also includes NFC capability. Additionally, it also features a HP TrueVision Web Camera, a backlit keyboard with proximity sensor, comes with either Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional and includes a 4-cell battery which claims up to 9 hours of battery life.
