Google Nexus 7 Will Be Coming Out Soon
All rumors are pointing towards an upcoming brand new Nexus 7 tablet launch. The last year has been filled with rumors and speculations surrounding Google’s highly anticipated tablet. The tablet was expected to arrive during 2016 but Huawei who was supposed to produce the device didn’t see eye to eye with Google. The Android parent wanted the tablet to only wear its branding and not Huawei’s logo. This upset Huawei and Google was forced to postpone Nexus 7’s launch date.
According to speculations, the tablet is already ready to be launched. The only reason it hasn’t seen the light of day yet is because Google doesn’t want to stir customers away from its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. We think it’s safe to say that all Android fans are waiting for their opportunity to get their hands on Google’s not yet released tablet. The reason we are saying this is because Nexus 7 is believed to be quite an impressive tablet from a hardware performance point of view.
Google Nexus 7: Specs
Google has yet to confirm the official specs of the device so everything we know so far is based on rumors. This is why everything is subjective to change. With that being said, let’s take a look at what we can expect. First off, rumor has it that the tablet will ship with a large 7 inch AMOLED panel. What makes the display so special is the fact that it will feature a high 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.
In terms of hardware power, Google is expected to equip the tablet with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 825 chipset. Additionally, the processor will be coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage space. Even better because the tablet will fueled by a powerful processor like Snapdragon 825, it might actually be VR ready.
Google Nexus 7: Launch Date
Although the tablet will surely be unveiled during 2017, we can’t be exactly sure what’s the official release date. Reports are hinting towards the fact that Google wants to launch the tablet during late 2017. The reason behind this is that Google wants all of its competition to launch their tablets so that there won’t be any other device that’s able to steal the spotlight from Nexus 7.
