Europe to get the LG Optimus 2X in March
Last year, LG officially announced the Optimus 2X as the first Dual-Core powered smartphone. It was expected to launch in the market a bit earlier, but it did not appear when expected. However, now the guys seem pretty confident that it will make its way to the European markets sometime this month.
The device is powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor and other features include an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording capabilities, 4-inch WVGA display and Android mobile operating system. Also the phone will be coming with Android 2.2 ForYo and a 2.3 Gingerbread update will be available sometime in the future.
The pricing is still a mystery, but we will keep you in the loop. At launch it will be available in “key European markets” while it will eventually reach other markets.
