Adobe releases Photoshop CS6 beta, available for download
Adobe the maker of the famous photo and image editing software has recently released the beta version for the next generation Photoshop, it is called Photoshop CS6. There are a bunch of new upgrades and features introduced with this new version and we will soon talk about it in more detail.
The biggest change is the brand new redesign which introduces a completely new UI, which features a much darker shade.
There are many other changes out of which the new fey features include new additions to the Content-Aware tool and it includes, Content-Aware Patch which allows users to select and duplicate a desired area of the image to patch. It also has Content-Aware Move which allows users to move a object to a different area without spoiling the image.
The software is powered by the new Adobe Mercury Graphics Engine and Adobe claims that it will help improve user experience and deliver enhanced performance. The new engine enables near-instant results for tools including, Lighting Effects, Liquify, Puppet Wrap and Transform. Users can now add dashed lines and gradient strokes on Vector layers. It includes searchable layers and brand new type styles, this will definitely expand the creative space for Photoshop users.
Another new feature introduced with Photoshop CS6 is a basic video editor which offers all the entry-level video editing tools which are not very complex to understand for first time users.
This beta version offers all the tools from Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CS6 Extended which includes 3D editing and image analytics. The software is now available for download via Adobe Labs and users are required to login using an Adobe account to validate and activate the product.
