Elder Scrolls Online officially launches for early adopters starting today
We have all been eagerly waiting for Elder Scrolls Online since we first heard of the game. Every person who has ever played the Elder Scrolls franchise has ended up being interested in the this vast world and has always imagined how it would be exploring all of them in one single game. Well Elder Scrolls Online lets you do that and with the benefit of sharing the entire world with other players.
Those who have been waiting to start with the game will be happy to know that today the game launched for subscribers for its Early Access program. Everyone who has subscribed for the same can start building their characters without losing any data when the game launches for everyone.
The game launched this morning at 7AM EST and so far the servers seem to be running without any issues despite the influx of the new PC players.
The Elder Scrolls Online game releases for the public on PC and Mac on April 4 2014 and will finally reach the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in June. Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios.
“As with other games in The Elder Scrolls franchise, the game will be set in the continent of Tamriel and feature a storyline indirectly connected with the other games. The game will be set a millennium before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and around 800 years before The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, with the Daedric Prince Molag Bal appearing as the main antagonist as he attempts to pull all of Tamriel to his realm of Coldharbour.”
