Windows 10 Mobile Update Will Roll Out To Lumia 640, 735, 830 And 930
Windows 10 Mobile came pre-installed on Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones that have been released in November 2015. The update has been delayed for too long, because it was supposed to be rolled out in December for the devices that have included on the list, and since we’re in February, something must have gone wrong, but Microsoft Lumia Mexico has announced on its Facebook page that some of the Lumia devices will start receiving the Windows 10 Mobile update.
The owners of a Lumia 640, Lumia 735, Lumia 830 or Lumia 930 have lost their patience, because three months have passed and Windows 10 Mobile still didn’t arrive on their smartphones. But, their wait might be over, because Microsoft Lumia Mexico has announced that some of the phones will receive the latest firmware tomorrow, without mentioning the names of the devices.
This isn’t the first time when the Lumia device owners have been fooled by false reports about the release of the software, and they’ve become skeptical, especially after hearing that the Lumia 535 and Lumia 640 were already upgraded in Latin America and Poland, although no real user has confirmed that this actually happened.
It’s hard to trust unverified sources, and if the information doesn’t come from Microsoft itself, you should take the news with a bit of salt. However, the company has confirmed that Windows 10 Mobile update will roll out to nine Lumia models: 430, 532, 535, 540, 640, 640 XL, 735, 830 and 930, then it will reach the devices that are currently running on Windows 8.0.
Some reports say that Microsoft will be testing the new build of Windows 10 Mobile, 10586.122, but it doesn’t bring anything new. A small change was made in build 14267 to the Microsoft Edge browser, which supports Word Flow in its address box.
