The South Korean multinational conglomerate company has attended the Mobile World Congress, where it unveiled its latest Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge flagships. The devices have received a number of improvements, such as a larger battery (3000mAh and 3600mAh, respectively), two variants of chipsets, depending on the regions where they will be available (Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890) and a new camera (IMX260, 12 MP with f/1.7 optics). Also, the dust and waterproof protection is back! Both models will hit the stores on March 11 and here are the prices they will come with in the UK.

The Galaxy S7 will be available through EE with a monthly subscription of £44.49 and an upfront fee of £49.99, while for the S7 Edge you’ll pay £29.99 in advance and the monthly plan is £49.99. The customers will get unlimited minutes and texts, 4GB of mobile data and 4G speeds up to 150Mbps, alongside WiFi Calling.

Both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge sold by Carphone Warehouse are available with an upfront fee that starts from £79.99 and the monthly plan starts from £36. The phones can be preordered and will arrive to the customers with three days before the official launch date. In addition, they will receive a free Samsung Gear VR headset which, normally, it costs £79.99. The virtual reality device is compatible with both of the new flagships and with it, the users can play games, open applications and watch VR videos.

Three is selling the Galaxy S7 with a £99 upfront cost and the customers are charged £35 a month, but they’re getting unlimited minutes and 1GB of mobile data. The S7 Edge is available with a monthly contract that starts from £41, but the upfront fee has the same value.

Vodafone is selling the two devices with an upfront fee of £29 and the monthly contract includes unlimited minutes and texts, alongside 10GB of data for £44 or £50 per month, with the Vodafone Red 10GB Bundle, while the Vodafone Red Value 15GB Bundle increases the monthly price to £49 (Galaxy S7) and £55 (Galaxy S7 Edge), but the users are getting, besides 15GB of data, free access to Netflix for the next 12 months or access to Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium, as well as a NOW TV Entertainment Pass in the next two years.
