Samsung has officially announced two new affordable Android based samrtphones, a week before Mobile World Congress commences. The two new smartphones from Samsung include the Galaxy Ace 2 which is a successor to the Galaxy Ace and the Galaxy Mini 2 obviously a successor for the Galaxy Mini.

The Galaxy Mini 2 which is powered by a single-core processor clocked at 800 MHz and sports a 3.7-inch HCGA TFT display, 512MB of RAM and will also run Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with TouchWiz UI. It will include a 3 megapixel camera, 4GB of built-in storage and a 1300 mAh battery. It might be priced about 10,000 INR when launched in India.
Next is the Galaxy Ace 2 will include a dual-core processor clocked at 800 MHz, a 3.8-inch WGA PLS TFT display and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI. It will also include a 5 megapixel camera, 4GB built-in memory, 768MB RAM and a 1500 mAh battery. We are guessing that the phone should be priced around 15,000 INR when launched in India.
The pricing and release of the smartphone is yet not announced by Samsung and we have just speculated the pricing. Samsung has not mentioned anything about an Android ICS update for these devices, hence we are not sure whether it will receive and update for the same. Nonetheless we might find out more during MWC 2012.
