Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 4.0 ICS



Samsung has announced its new 7-inch tablet which runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it is called the Galaxy Tab 2. It image suggests that this device will be running Samsung TouchWiz UI over Android ICS, however we would now the major changes in the UI later after the launch of the device.

The Galaxy Tab 2 will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It will sport a 7-inch LCD display with a 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It will also include a 4000 mAh battery, 3 megapixel rear camera and a front facing VGA quality camera, the device will be available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB versions.

More on the device will be revealed at MWC 2012 where Samsung is also expected to unveil its new 10-inch Android based tablet.
