Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 will be Released for PS4 and Xbox One
The remastered versions of Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero were well received by the fans of these games, but Capcom has decided to give us more remastered games and this time, the chosen versions are Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6, which will be available later this year for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One consoles. Before getting excited about this announcement, you should know that Capcom will not release the remastered games in this order and they will arrive separately. Maybe for financial reasons.
The fans of these games will have plenty time to put $19.99 aside until March 29, when Capcom is expected to release the remastered Resident Evil 6, then the RE 5 will arrive this summer and lastly, the RE 4 will hit the market this fall. It’s good to know that the price will be the same for each game and the fans will b able to download the digital copy, but there will be sold physical copies as well in the US. RE 5 and 6 will include their post-launch DLC, so it will be worth the wait.
The ports will contain only a higher rate and not many important graphical improvements, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise, because Capcom has remastered Resident Evil 4 too many times and perhaps the developers have lost their inspiration, but we have high expectations from Resident Evil 5 and 6, which will be re-released for the first time. However, their PC ports won’t be included.
The fans are disappointed because Capcom prefers to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary by re-releasing these three games, instead of bringing a brand new installment, but maybe if they will be successful, this will convince the developers to put their minds to work and work on a new game.
