NEC Announces its First Android Netbook



A new netbook running Android 2.2 was introduced by NEC from Japan. The netbook named LifeTouch Note features a 7-inch touchscreen with an 800×480 resolution, a GPS sensor, an accelerometer and NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 CPU. The netbook also comes with a two megapixel camera and an SHDC memory card slot. The device will be compatible with the Android Market and will come in three models – The top model with Wi-fi, 3G and 8GB storage; the one with Wi-fi only and one with Wi-fi and 4GB memory.

The LifeTouch netbook will arrive in Japanese markets in March in three colors – chocolate brown, piano black and red. The 4GB, Wi-Fi model will cost the equivalent of $477, while both the 8GB Wi-Fi and 3G models are said to retail for the same $537.

    If exernal qwerty keyboard option is there then it will become light. while travelling we can use G7 gestures using touchpad .  7keypad
