Mass Effect Andromeda Update – All You Need to Know Until Now
Can you believe there’s been almost five years since Mass Effect 3 was released? It’s been a hell of a ride and an interesting journey to the next installment, Mass Effect: Andromed, which is due to be released in almost two months. The official announcement came back in 2015, but ever since then, Bioware was pretty vague when it came to releasing details or other changes that are going to occur in the game. Only at the E3 2016 fans got the chance to find out some more, and then at the N7 event, but it’s clear that we will still get more teasers until the release. But let’s see what we already know!
As it seems, we will be getting the game on March 21 and it will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and, of course, PC. Along with the events that ended in 2012 in Mass Effect 3, Commander Shepard also says goodbye. Bioware confirmed that the next plot will be far from the initial trilogy. According to some other pieces of information, the action will be happening 600 years after the events in Mass Effect 3 in the Andromeda Galaxy (which gives the name of the game).
Another thing we know about the upcoming game is the fact that it is built completely on the Frostbite 3 engine developed by EA. If you don’t know exactly what this means, think about games such as Battlefield 1, Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and Dragon Age: Inquisition, which were also created on its basis.
The plot details are extremely varied, and they all seem to revolve around the Arks. They have to meet with the Nexxus once they reach Andromeda in order to start the Pathfinder Expedition, but they find themselves in the wrong place and have to find a safe place.
