Intel Medfield powered Android smartphone from Lava Mobiles heading to India [MWC 2012]

Intel has teamed up with Lava to launch their first Intel Medfield based smartphone in the Indian market. This is an Android powered smartphone called the Lava XOLO X900 which is powered by Intel’s Atom Z2460 (Medfield) processor.

The processor is clocked at 1.6 GHz and it also includes a 400 MHz dedicated GPU, 8 megapixel camera 1080p full HD recording and burst shots mode. It sports a 4.3-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and includes HDMI, NFC and HSPA+ connectivity features.

The Lava XOLO X900 is a weirdly named smartphone running Android and powered by Intel Medfield which will launch in Q2 2012 and is expected to be priced at 25,000 INR.
