Huawei Watch 2 Leaks Show Sporty Bew Look and Nano SIM Support
The 26th of February will be a great day for mobile device enthusiasts. It marks the MWC 2017 kick-off, which unleash a new wave of devices and services provided by the largest mobile manufacturers and developers out there. Surely, if you are into mobile tech, you will have a reason to keep your ear close to the ground on this one.
One of the attractions of the event will be the Watch 2, courtesy of Huawei. Huawei’s smartwatch is expected to be introduced to the world once MWC begins. Those that are too eager to wait until then can rejoice, as the internet did its thing once again. And by that we mean that the press renders for the Huawei gadget have already leaked online.
If you are not familiar with the work of Evan Blass, he is notorious for leaking things online prior to their release. He is also the author of the latest leak of the Huawei Watch 2. There are three color combinations available for the device, and it’s easy to see that the Watch 2 is looking to pull off a sports vibe.
The new sporty Watch 2 will also include support for SIMs. To be more specific, it will feature a little tray for a nano SIM card. This is a step forward for smartwatches, as they are now incorporating network technology into the mix, making them more independent and less based on having a smartphone linked to them.
We now have the photos to give us a quick look at what the Watch 2 will look like, but we don’t know anything about the hardware specifications of the gadget. That means that there are still plenty of reasons to check out MWC and get the full scoop on the Huawei Wawtch 2. Considering how close the 26th of February is, the leak came in just the right amount of time to warm up the fandom for the new wearable tech.
