HTC Vivo Will Hit the Indian Markets in March

HTC the famous smartphone manufacturer from Taiwan is preparing to launch a certain HTC Vivo smartphone in the Indian markets sometime in March. India may probably be the first country to get this device, and more on this device is expected to be announced at MWC 2011. Although, there are no confirmations the guys at TeleNewz are reporting this as their source has confirmed that HTC has already approved the launch of the device in the Indian market.

The HTC Vivo will feature a 4.3-inch Super LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800. It runs Android 2.2 FroYo and according to the source the device has no keys on the front and it seems it is the same button-less device which was previously captured in photos with Verizon branding.

Furthermore, the guys are also reporting that their source has mentioned that HTC ranks India amongst the top three markets in terms of number of units sold and this is the primary reason for the approval of the launch of the HTC Vivo in the Indian markets.
