HP Unveils Pre 3 and Veer webOS Smartphones
Along with the HP TouchPad and the announcement that webOS will be making its way to computers and notebook, HP also announced two new webOS phones one called the HP Veer while the other called the HP Pre 3. The Veer is a tiny, average consumer centric device while the Pre 3 caters to business and entertainment centric users.
The HP Veer is a tiny credit card sized webOS touting phone. It has a display of 2.6-inch and has some great specifications for such a tiny devices. The Veer has 8GB of on-board storage, Adobe Flash Support, runs webOS 2.1 and is powered by a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It supports HSPA+ and has a 5 megapixel camera on its back.
HP Pre 3
The Pre 3 is a more capable device, which also runs webOS 2.1. It has a 3.6-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 800. It supports HSPA+ and it can also be used as a world phone that to EVDO Rev. A. The HP Pre 3 is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor, it also has a front facing camera for video conferencing and another camera at the back which can capture HD videos.
Both the devices are interesting, the HP Veer is expected o hit the stores in spring while the HP Pre 3 will be available in summer the pricing in yet to be announced.
