Windows 10 KB3209835 Update for Insider Release Preview
One of the biggest advantages of using Windows 10 is that users can register in Microsoft’s Insider program which allows users to be among the first ones to get their hands on new patches. The only thing Windows 10 users have to do is to provide Microsoft with feedback regarding the latest updates and features. Now, it looks like even though we just went through the holiday season Microsoft employees have been hard at work because a new cumulative update has been rolled out to Insiders on the Release Preview ring.
Windows 10 users can find the latest update listed as KB3209835 and it moves the operating system’s build number up to 14393.594. This might not be such a huge jump from the initial 14393.576 build number but it’s an update nonetheless. Usually Microsoft accompanies its Insider updates with a complete set of patch notes that inform users on what changes the update is bringing and what bugs it’s fixing but sadly, this isn’t the case this time.
In case you are registered in Microsoft’s Release Preview ring you can go and check for the update yourself right now by accessing Setting – Update & Security – Check for updates. The only thing left to do now is to perform a reboot. What’s worth mentioning is while the update has been made available for Windows PC users, Windows 10 Mobile still have to wait a while before their turn comes. One concern Windows 10 Mobile users have been having for a while now is that Microsoft is focusing more towards the PC version and the mobile one is getting left behind. With that being said, we can expect Microsoft to launch a new mobile update soon enough.
