Nokia D1C Leaked Pictures And Specs

The whole internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations surrounding Nokia’s upcoming smartphone right now. It looks like even though the Finnish manufacturer recently launched Nokia 6, another device is coming. We have gotten lucky and a bunch of leaked pictures of Nokia D1C have come to light. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to launch during the upcoming MWC in February. Today we’re going to over its specs so we can get an idea of how much it will cost.

Specs and Display

Nokia D1C has been recently spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark listing. Gladly, the benchmark listing contained all of D1C’s hardware list. First off, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. According to the benchmarking website, Nokia D1C will ship with a rather larger 5.5 inch IPS display. It will have full-HD pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Another important piece of information provided by the benchmarking listing is that Nokia D1C will provide users with 32GB of internal storage. The storage can also be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Tech experts believe that the smartphone will come with a 16MP main camera and a 8MP secondary one. If this proves to be true, it means that this is the same camera system which has been used on Nokia 6.

Droidhere.com mentioned that Nokia D1C will use the same operating system used by Nokia 6. This is great news because Google has done a really good job optimizing its Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The operating system is also expected to be layered with Nokia’s own user interface skin.

Launch Date and Price

Nokia was recently acquired by HMD Global from Microsoft. The reason why this matters is because HMD Global has announced that it’s going to hold an event at MWC in February. This tech event seems to be the perfect place for Nokia to unveil its highly anticipated Nokia D1C. Especially since there will be other major tech giants who will unveil their devices such as Samsung. Regarding price, it’s a tough call. Taking in consideration that Nokia D1C seems to be designed especially to appeal towards mid-ranged budgets we can expect it to come priced at $190.
