Nexus and LG Have Two Smartwatches Ready To Be Launched
Even though Google has just taken the tech market by storm with its Pixel lineup, it looks like that’s not enough. The US based tech giant is rumored to have two brand new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches ready to be launched during 2017. This will be the first ever wearable devices to run on the latest Android Wear operating system. In the past Google usually teamed up with other major tech manufacturers and create devices in the Nexus brand and we can expect that this is the case with the upcoming two Android smartwatches as well. The downside is that Google has yet to confirm which company has it partnered up.
Luckily for us, Evan Blass the known and liable tech leakster decided to leak the pictures of the upcoming devices. While Evan Blass has a good record of predicting upcoming tech devices, we can’t be sure that these pictures are real. Nonetheless, it seems like Google has teamed up once again with LG and both device’s design resemble the one used in the Nexus brand. Google’s choice to partner with LG is certainly a good one because LG is the company which managed to make the Nexus brand so popular.
These wearable devices definitely look outstanding. Right now we’ll go over their specs and features and see how well LG designed them. The more affordable one is the Watch Style and it measures at 1.2 inch and it ships with a 360 circular display. Even though it’s only an entry level device, it’s hardware performances shouldn’t be overlooked at all. The device is equipped with 512MB of RAM and a reasonably sized 240 mAh battery alongside 4GB of storage space. Watch Style also comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
On the other hand, the more expensive Watch Sport is certainly more technology advanced. The device ships with a 1.38 inch 480 x 480 round display and it’s equipped with 768MB of RAM and a large 430 mAh battery. As its name implies, the device has been designed to be more appealing towards customers that enjoy outdoor activities and because of that it will come with a rougher looking exterior.
