Motorola CLIQ 2 Coming On T-Mobile

So, you saw the Motorola XOOM, which is Motorola answer to Apple’s iPad and there is no doubt that it seems to be the most amazing tablet which is heading to Verizon Wireless. But, that was not all that Motorola had at CES 2011 as the company amongst other smartphones announced the Motorola CLIQ 2.

The Motorola CLIQ 2 is an Android 2.2 FroYo running phone and it boasts a 1GHz processor, this surely makes the CLIQ 2 a brilliant upgrade over the original CLIQ. It has a 2.7-inch display, HSPA+ support and it is topped up with the MotoBlur UI. It has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash.

Motorola is known for some wacky designs, and on the CLIQ 2 you will see this on its slide out QWERTY keypad. This keypad is very unique and it reminds me of a spider web, the keys are bubbled to let you know which key you are pressing. Overall it seems like a comfortable keyboard design.

What I don’t like about this phone is its plastic body, but you may later get used to it. The device is heading to T-Mobile and will be available from January 19, 2011.
