Guys over at Pocket-Lint, which is great British blog discussed a few thing with James Choi, LG’s Global Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning and he discussed a few things about Windows Phone 7, Microsoft’s mobile operating system which launched back in October.

These are the word of James Choi;
“From an industry perspective we had a high expectation, but from a consumer point of view the visibility is less than we expected”, he also added. “LG has been closely collaborating with Microsoft from the beginning. What we feel is that it is absolutely perfect for a huge segment out there. What we feel is that some people believe that some operating systems, mainly Google, are extremely complicated for them. But Windows Phone 7 is very intuitive and easy to use.”
Thus pointing out that the simplicity of the user interface of Windows Phone 7 kills the fun and makes it boring after spending some time, however later he does mention that such is the case for geeks but there still lives a potential market which will find this very appealing.
This does leave a major question about LG’s support for Windows Phone 7 devices, and as per what Choi had to say it seems like there is still time to for Windows Phone 7 to grow and they will give the platform that chance, while another major reason for supporting the platform would be having an option for those who want to try something other than Android.
