Huawei launches Ascend P1 and Ascend P1 S Smartphones [CES 2012]

At Consumer Electronics Show 2012, Huawei unveiled two new Android based smartphones and they call it the Ascend P1 S and the Ascend P1. Amongst the two the Ascend P1 S is a device from the company which is just 6.68mm thick, even slimmer than the 7.1mm thick Motorola RAZR.

The Ascend P1 S is also packed with some great hardware as it sports a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4460 processor along with 1GB of RAM. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.

The company has also launched another device called the Huawei Ascend P1 which is a 7.69mm thick device but has the same specifications. Both the device will run stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Snadwich and will be available for purchase in the second quarter of 2012. The pricing will be announced during the launch.
