Huawei Honor 6X vs Motorola Moto G4 Plus – Two Tech Giants Have A Go At Each Other
Everybody knows by now that Huawei has been competing with Motorola for a few years now. Both companies seem to find themselves faced with each other every time they launch a new product. During CES 2017, Huawei unveiled its highly anticipated mid-budget ranged Honor 6X which is going to go head on against Motorola’s Moto G4 Plus. The devices can be found in the same category with Honor 6X being priced at $249.99 on Amazon. Today we’re going to pin them against each other and see which one prevails.
The newly launched Honor 6X ships with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD touch screen display that has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 and which is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 thus making it scratch resistance. On the other hand, Moto G4 Plus comes with a similar sized 5.5 inch ISP LCD touch screen display that has the same pixel resolution and that’s also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. In this department, both devices come out as equals.
It looks like equipping affordable devices with high performing hardware parts seems to be the latest trend in the tech world. Huawei did just that when it installed the latest HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor which is paired with a Mali-T830MP2 GPU. Honor 6X can be acquired for either the standard 32GB or 3GB of RAM model or the more premium 64GB and 4GB of RAM one. Motorola didn’t shy away from equipping its device with impressive hardware parts as well. As a result of that, Moto G4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 processor which is coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device comes in the 16GB and 32GB of internal storage variants. Also, worth mentioning is that both devices internal memory can expanded using a microSD card.
