Huawei Honor 6X is on its Way to India

One of Huawei’s most successful line of devices is certainly the Honor series. The Chinese manufacturer introduced Honor 6X back in October 2016 and Europe and US residents have been able to acquire it ever since. Now it looks like India is next in line. As everybody knows by now, Huawei has been trying to establish its brand as a powerhouse in the smartphone market and to get rid of the stigma of being Google’s anonymous manufacturer for a while now. Honor 6X is just the right device to help the company achieve that.

According to recent reports, Huawei started mailing out invites for a event that’s going to take place in India on January 24th. The invite mentioned that a new smartphone is going to be launched, but it didn’t specify which one. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Honor 6X is the device, especially since Amazon India even confirmed that a new Huawei smartphone will be listed soon.

Right now we can’t know for sure how much will the device cost in India, but it will probably reflect its $249.99 US price. Nonetheless, Indian residents should be happy to hear this news because Huawei equipped Honor 6X with only high-end hardware parts.

Honor 6X is powered by the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor which clocks at 2.1 GHz. The device comes in the standard 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space variant and the premium 4GB and 64GB of storage space one. The internal storage space can also be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. Also, worth mentioning is that the smartphone features two SIM slots.

The display isn’t something to be overlooked, Honor 6X ships with a rather large 5.5 inch IPS LCD touch screen display. Honor 6X has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 403 ppi alongside a screen to body ratio of 71.8 percent. It’s safe to say that this device is going to make waves on the Indian tech market.
