Acer unveils its Liquid E1 Android based smartphone
Acer recently unveiled its new Android based smartphone which it calls the Liquid E1 and it looks like a slightly affordable version of the Acer Cloud Mobile S500 which the company unveiled in the first quarter of 2012.
The Liquid E1 is an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean based smartphone and it company has no intentions of targeting the much premium market with this device and hence has equipped the device with mid-range hardware.
In regards to its internals the device is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, it has 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and a 1,750 mAh battery. The smartphone also features a 4.5-inch qHD display, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera.
The Acer Liquid E1 runs a clean version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with no customizations from the company. However, it is likely to come with a few pre-loaded Acer apps and it will be placed in the mid-ranged segment.
