Lenovo IdeaPad A10, Android based notebook launched in India
Lenovo has announced its new Android based, dual-mode notebook in the Indian market. This device is called the IdeaPad A10 and it is a mid-ranged notebook/tablet hybrid priced at just Rs 19,990.
The unique feature of the Lenovo IdeaPad A10 is its tiltable display which can flip by 300 degrees to provide a tablet-like experience while the keyboard part of its body acts like a stand.
The IdeaPad A10 sports a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display with a 1366×768 pixels resolution. It is further powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor and includes 1GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. It also has a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera enabling video calling capabilities.
In terms of the connectivity it is equipped with a microUSB port, two USB 2.0 ports and a micro HDMI port. It also lets you add extra storage space using a microSD card slot. The device has a 1,600 mAh battery which Lenovo claims can last up to 10 hours and it comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean skinned with the company’s own user interface.
Needless to say this is not the most traditional laptop and as it runs Android it may not feel like a full-fledged laptop to suffice all your needs. But if all you need is some simple editing tools on your device along with a wide range of media features, this notebook seems like a good option.
