Alcatel Idol X+ is an 8 Core Android smartphone
The Alcatel Idol X+ was first announced in China in December and now the company has showcased its new 8 core smartphone at CES 2014.
Alcatel has further announced that the Idol X+ Android smartphone will launch in Europe sometime in February and it is certainly packed with some impressive hardware which would get you interested in purchasing this smartphone.
The device is powered by an 8 core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 2GHz and it sports a 5-inch full HD resolution IPS display. Further the smartphone has 16GB of built-in storage capacity and it supports microSD cards up to 32GB is size.
The Alcatel Idol X+ will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean pre-installed and it sports a 2 megapixel front facing camera along with a 13 megapixel rear camera.
The device is expected to retail around $300 without a contract when it arrives in Europe next month. The exact pricing and the launch details are yet to be announced.
