Micromax Bolt A28 and Micromax Bolt A59 show up online for Rs 3,599 and Rs 4,499
Micromax is known for its slew of Android smartphones available in the market. Joining many of its other smartphones are two new (and yet announced) devices which are available for purchase online and will soon be announced officially.
These smartphones include – the Bolt A28 and the Bolt A59 – both of which are a part of their extremely affordable Android smartphones series and have been priced at Rs 3,599 and Rs 4,499 respectively.
The Micromax Bolt A28 sports a 3.5-inch TFT display with a 320×480 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 1GHz Coretex-A5 processor along with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. It comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is a pre-historic version of the software.
The Bolt A28 further includes a VGA quality front facing as well as rear camera, a microSD card slot compatible with up to 32GB of storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is equipped with a 1,500 mAh battery which has been rated to provide up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 260 hours of standby.
The next device is the Micromax Bolt A59 which comparatively runs a recent version of the Android software – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It has a 3.5-inch display with 320×480 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor along with a Mali 400 GPU and 256MB of RAM.
It further includes 4GB of internal storage and has a microSD card slot compatible with up to 16GB of additional storage. The smartphone has a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera.
Other features on the Bolt A59 include a 1,500 mAh battery which is rated to provide up to 160 hours of standby along with 4 hours of talk time. In terms of the connectivity the device supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS.
