Moto G unofficially available in India starts at Rs. 15,137

It’s been a while since Motorola officially launched the Moto G in global markets. At that time reports suggested that a dual-SIM variant of the Moto G will be making its way to the India market sometime in January.

Although this smartphone is expected to be officially launched sometime next month, the Moto G has arrived in India and is available for purchase via online retailer ShopYourWorld in both 8GB as well as 16GB storage capacity variants.

The 8GB Moto G has been priced at Rs. 15,137 and the 16GB Moto G is priced at Rs. 17,089. The retailer is importing the device, adding the relevant taxes and then selling this smartphone at its final price. The device will not have any official Motorola warranty in India and the website mentions that it will require 10-14 days to ship this smartphone at your doorstep.

In terms of the specifications, the Moto G sports a 4.5-inch 720p resolution display and it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It further includes 1GB of RAM and it is equipped with a 2,070 mAh battery which the company claims to provide all day long battery backup.
