Unlocked Sony Xperia Advance arrives in US for $300
There are more than a few Android smartphones available in the US market and the new LG Nexus 4 seems like the best pick in lot. However, if it for some reason does not seem the right device for you then you can have a look at the new Xperia Advance from Sony.
The Sony Xperia Advance is a rugged (something which the Nexus 4 does not offer) Android smartphone which has a scratch-resistant mineral glass display with IP67 rating for protection against dust and water immersions in between 0 to 39 inches for up to 30 minutes.
It has a 3.5-inch display with a 320×480 pixels resolution, it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (will be update later), has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and a 1,305 mAh battery. It is also equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash which can record videos in 720p.
Xperia Advance is now available unlocked via Newegg for just $299.99. It is a mid-ranged Android device which may be available for much cheaper when it is announced with carries.
