Motorola has finally unveiled its new generation tablets which includes the Motorola Xoom 2 and the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition. The company made this announcement in UK and the devices are expected to hit UK and Ireland sometime mid-November.

The Xoom 2 sports a 10.1-inch display while the Xoom 2 Media Edition has an 8.2-inch display. Bot are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, run Android 3.2 Honeycomb (upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS), 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The tablet has 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.

Other difference between the two new tablets includes splash guard and 3D virtual surround sound on the Xoom 2 while the Media Edition is optimized for wide angle moving. The pricing is yet to be official but we will update you once announced.
