ASUS has officially unveiled the world’s first tablet powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The tablet will be available in the market sometime next month and runs Android Honeycomb, of course you can expect it to have Android 4.0 ICS at a later date, probably Q1 2012.

In regards to the specifications of the Transformer Prime it has a quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB DDR2 RAM. It sports a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with Super IPS+ and Gorilla Glass protection. It includes an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel front facing camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 32GB/64GB along with ASUS WebStorage.

Obviously it comes with the keyboard dock like the first generation Transformer tablet. It will be available in select market before the end of this year. The 32GB variant is priced at $499 US and the 64GB is priced at $599 US. The keyboard dock is available separately and is priced at $150 US.
