The specifications of the upcoming LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S II have been revealed. It will make an appearance at IFA 2011, where Samsung has some other devices to flaunt off as well, about which we reported earlier.

Our friends at Sammy Hub have got the details of the Galaxy S II LTE and apparently, this would be the world’s first LTE/WCDMA/GSM multi-mode smartphone. The Galaxy S II LTE also includes upgraded hardware including the new 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8 megapixel rear camera, NFC support and a 1850 mAh battery.
Additionally, there is a slight design change from the original Galaxy S II, as the battery cover will now have a brushed metal finish and slightly rounded edges, probably because they don’t want this device to be banned in other regions.
