Canon has finally updated its famous EOS 50D and now comes the new Canon EOS 60D which includes 1080p, H.264-encoded video and a brilliant 18-megapixel sensor. Other than this, it is the first DSLR from Canon which will come with a swivel LCD screen of 3-inch which can move in various angles to make it much easier shoot difficult photos.

The Canon 60D has also features a brand new Multi-Control Dial which comes with a direction pad and a select button along with the quick control dial, this new features are integrated to make it much faster to use the camera and also to improve vertical shooting without disrupting the layout. It will also allow you to handle some RAW processing with captured images and you play with effect filters such as color space, noise reduction and correction of barrel distortion or vignetting. Captured images can also be easily resized on the spot, and your edits will be saved as copies without damaging the original image.
The Canon EOS 60D includes sensitivity of up to ISO 12,800m, it has a nine-point autofocus system, with a 3-inch, 1-megapixel preview LCD. However, increasing the resolution has affected the cameras continuous shooting mode performance from 6.3fps to 5.3fps. Over Canon EOS 50D this one has a 63-point metering system, which is a far powerful update than the predecessors 35-point grid, the viewfinder can now provide about 96 percent coverage and the storage standards have now moved from CF to SD/SDHC/SDXC.
The Canon EOS 60D will start shipping by the end of this September as a body only version at the price of $1,099 which is the same as Canon EOS 50D, like the 50D it will come with an 18-135mm, f3.5-5.6 kit lens for $1,399. So who is interested?
